Visit to GKN Hydrogen
On 4 October 2023, the AMETHyST consortium and over 45 participants visited the MPREIS headquarters in Völs, where Europe’s largest single-stack electrolysis plant and a hydrogen refuelling station for logistics vehicles have been installed since March 2022 as part of the Demo4Grid project. The electrolysis plant can produce 1,300 kilograms of hydrogen per day and use it to refuel the lorry fleet. The plant was presented to the participants by the Green Energy Centre team.
