The Hydrogen High-Pressure Efficient Renewing (HyPER) project consists of six implementation objectives, which will allow the design, construction, testing and validation of 500 bar hydrogen tube trailers, and the safety analysis of hydrogen high pressure systems. The results of the partnership’s activities will then flow into the tests and validation of high-pressure logistics in the mobility sector by Sapio and in the technical-economic analysis of the overall system by Fondazione Bruno Kessler. The project in its entirety will contribute to supporting the Italian challenge of transition towards a sustainable economy based on hydrogen, opening up the possibility for Italy to use hydrogen at more accessible costs and with continuity in terms of availability compared to other sources energy, thus supporting the country’s energy security.
